While the scoreboard didn’t always reflect the effort, the commitment to improvement and playing for one another continues to define this group.

Varsity Recap
Barron Collier vs. Immokalee
The Varsity Cougars took the field against Immokalee High School in a hard-fought contest that showcased determination and flashes of strong execution on both ends of the field. Despite facing a tough opponent, Barron Collier continued to compete from start to finish, with key contributions across the roster. Offensively, the Cougars generated scoring opportunities through aggressive dodging and improved ball movement, while defensively, the unit showed grit under pressure, working to limit high-percentage looks and battling for ground balls. Cole Turner's shot won the game for the Cougars in overtime.

Player of the Game: Billy Schoepfer (Goalie)
Billy delivered a standout performance in goal, recording 12 saves against 18 shots on goal. His toughness, composure, and ability to make key stops under pressure kept the Cougars competitive throughout the game and highlighted his leadership on the defensive side of the field. Billy was locked in, allowing zero goals during the entire second half and overtime.
Junior Varsity Recap
The Junior Varsity squad opened the week with a matchup against Immokalee High School, continuing to build experience and chemistry as a developing unit. The team showed effort and flashes of strong play, gaining valuable reps that will pay dividends moving forward. This effort resulted in a 5-3 win for the Cougars. Later in the week, JV traveled to Canterbury High School, where they faced a tough challenge and fell 14–1. Despite the scoreline, the Cougars continued to compete and gain critical in-game experience against a deeper opponent. The resilience shown by this group continues to lay the foundation for future success.

Team Culture – Stronger Together
One of the highlights of the week came off the field, as the Booster Club hosted a team BBQ dinner on Tuesday. The event brought players and coaches together, providing an opportunity to strengthen relationships and reinforce the program's culture. Moments like these are essential as the Cougars continue to emphasize what it means to be Stronger Together—building trust, accountability, and camaraderie that extends beyond game day.
